TEXAS STATE INSPECTION
A state inspection is required in the state of Texas and at Mike's Lube Shop, we understand it's easier to get while you're in for an oil change. We want to make your "one more thing to do" as convenient as possible.
CABIN FILTERS
Cabin filters are important and often forgotten. Not only does does this ensure theres proper ventilation for the health and safety of passengers, but it's also an inexpensive way protect your vehicles AC and smelling fresh.
AIR FILTERS
The filter is there to keep dirt and debris from entering the engine. A dirty or clogged air filter can cause the engine to work harder than it really needs to. A clogged filter can lead to a loss of power, dirty smoke, a check engine light coming on and even engine failure.
FUEL FILTERS
A clogged fuel filter causes low fuel pressure that results in a lean fuel condition and engine misfire. This can result in poor fuel mileage, rough idling and possibly cause the check engine light to come on.
TRANSMISSION FLUSH
A transmission flush is the process of replacing the old, dirty transmission fluid in your vehicle with new, clean fluid. It involves hooking up your vehicle's transmission system to a professional-grade machine, which uses high pressure and a cleaning agent to completely flush out the old fluid.
